Women’s March Netherlands will organize its fifth demonstration on the 7th of March. This year not in the form of a procession through Amsterdam, but in static form at a location that will be announced shortly. COC stands for “stronger together” and it is therefore essential to inform its members, volunteers and community of this important demonstration.
The fundamental issues to be addressed are: violence against women, economic inequality, sexual and reproductive health and rights, LGBTQ + rights, rights for women with disabilities, an unequal education system, unequal representation in the media and politics. As a queer community, we unfortunately know these issues all too well.
On Sunday, March 7, there will thus be a demonstration from 14:00, for all women, including women of color, Muslim women, women with disabilities, trans women and queer women. For those who are not able to join in person, there is also the possibility to watch a livestream from home. The program will be announced in the first week of March via womensmarchnederland.nl or @womensmarchnederland
