In a world designed to oppress Black people and, more specifically, Black LGBTQIA+ people, Black Queer Joy is the revolution. Even in a racist, anti-queer, xenophobic, islamophobic, neurotypical, sexist, ableist, capitalist society, Black Queer people continue to find joy, love, and laughter. In doing so, Black Queer Joy becomes an act of resistance and holds the power to create change.
